| Neoprene / EPDM / SBR Closed Cell Foam Tapes Recommended for cushioning studs before drywall is installed or fastening roof curbs to A/C units, weatherproofing windows and door gasketing. Closed cell foam tapes conform to irregular surfaces and provide a tight, long-lasting seal against moisture, dust, rain and air leaks. They absorb shock and dampen sound and vibrations while resisting acids, alkali, ozone, and oxidation. Tapes feature a high-tack rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) on one side with easy-to-use release liner and pass FMVSS302, CAN/CSA C22.2 #017-92, and UL 94 HF1 for flammability. Available in made-to-order sizes in thicknesses of 1/16” to 1” and widths from ¼” to 54”. • P8200 Series – Neoprene/EPDM/SBR, black closed cell • P9200 Series – EPDM, black closed cell High Bond Acrylic Tapes Replace traditional fasteners, liquid adhesives, and spot welds with flexible, moldable, compressionable, and highly conformable high bond tapes that are formulated to withstand weathering, steam, moisture, and wide temperature ranges without losing adhesion power. Solid acrylic construction provides an aggressive, permanent, pressure-sensitive bond to a wide variety of substrates such as glass, plastic, stainless steel, galvanized steel, anodized aluminum and coated aluminum. Tapes reduce and dampen vibration, sound and shock and resist hardening and brittling with age. • PHB1000 Series – Clear, closed cell • PHB5100 Series – Gray, black, or white, closed cell | Polyethylene Tapes These general use construction tapes are also recommended for sealing, shock and noise absorption, and cushioning for shipping pads. Polyethylene Foam Tapes are single-side coated with rubber based, pressure sensitive adhesive to provide high-tack and high sheer. The series is available in rolls and sheets backed with easy-to-use release liners and offered in several thicknesses and densities ranging from 2.0 to 6.0 lb/ft3. • PF1600 Series – Black or white, closed cell Foam Gasketing Tapes These flexible open cell foam tapes are single-side coated with high-tack, permanent, rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive. Tapes exhibit a superior balance of tack, peel, and holding power on a wide variety of surfaces and resists water and moisture. Available in several thicknesses, the series offers very good air permeability and remains flexible over a long period of demanding usage, making it a cost-effective solution. • P8500 Series – Gray, open cell Silicone Medium-firmness, open cell silicone tapes combine the lightness of foam with the sealing properties of sponge rubber to prevent penetration of fine particles and wind-driven rain. Excellent memory and low stress relaxation features resist UV, ozone, extreme temperatures, corrosion, and flames. • S600 – Red, gray or black, open cell |
