New Separator Pads Protect Glass From Breakage During Shipping, Leave No Adhesive Residue

ADDISON, IL, March 2, 2009 — Glass, windows, doors and mirrors are difficult to ship without breakage or scratching. Standard adhesive separator pads designed to protect them often leave behind messy residue, tarnishing the product’s appearance.

To combat this problem, Pres-On has introduced an extensive line of adhesive and non-adhesive protective pads that remove cleanly, yet adhere securely to fragile glass, mirrors and metal during transporting, packing, storage and installation. Set between the architectural pieces, the pads adsorb vibration and maintain position to prevent breakage.

Adhesive-backed Pres-On pads are available in felt, foam and cork, while the non-adhesive pads are sold in cork/foam or foam/foam combinations that employ static cling to hold instead of adhesive.
Pres-On Separator Pads are conveniently supplied on kiss cut rolls or pads for faster application. Standard patterns include 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ or 1″ squares. Custom sizes are also available.
