PBTP67 Permanent Bag Sealing Tapes are transfer tapes with an unsupported, rubber based hot melt adhesive designed to distort and tear film up to 3 mil (75 microns) in thickness.

Once applied to plastic film, cold knife cutting capabilities are required to slit the tape into roll form. Suitable for use with corona treated films. Adhesive is compliant with FDA regulations for indirect food contact – CFR 175.105

PBTP67 tapes are used by polyethylene converters and bag makers as an aggressive adhesive for the permanent sealing of paper envelopes, plastic bags, and laminating to low-slip and no-slip plastic films. This tape is commonly used for mailing bags, magazine bags, or any other PE bag requiring a permanent closure.

Application Notes

Ensure bonding surfaces are well unified, clean, dry and free of dirt and oils. Apply firm and even pressure to improve adhesive-to-surface contact. Allow proper temperature and time to enhance bond strength as adhesive flows onto the surface.
