PHB5900W Series Direct Foam High Bond Tape - High Surface Energy Substrates
Pres-On’s PHB5900W (white) Series are double sided, high performance, acrylic-based adhesive tapes especially designed for a wide variety of applications with high surface energy substrates.
Designed for glass, aluminum and steel applications.
This tape is capable of absorbing the differing thermal expansions of two different materials. When used on the right substrates with high surface energy, this tape achieves the strongest bond we are able to produce. This acrylic foam tape has a very high temperature resistance, and when used in combination with a primer, this tape guarantees excellent adhesion performance even on medium surface energy materials.
Gray and Black available as special order.
*It is the end users responsibility to test and confirm the product is best for the application.

Product Description:
This product is a double sided high performance acrylic based adhesive tape, which is especially designed for a wide variety of materials with high and medium surface energy. This tape is capable of absorbing the differing thermal expansions of the two different materials. Because of the its toughness, this tape is, when used on the right substrates with high surface energy, the strongest bond we are able to produce. This acrylic foam tape has a very high temperature resistance. In combination with a primer, this tape guarantees excellent adhesion performance even on medium surface energy materials.
Applications:
Suitable for glass, epoxy, stainless steel, galvanized steel, anodized steel, coated aluminum
Application Notes:
Ensure bonding surfaces are well unified, clean, dry and free of dirt and oils. Apply firm and even pressure to improve adhesive-to-surface contact. Allow proper temperature and time to enhance bond strength as adhesive flows onto the surface.
