Heat Shield Silicone foam tape with aluminized fabric face. This adhesive backed combination of extra soft silicone foam with aluminized fabric provides a quality heat-shielding insulator and fire-resistance. The soft density cellular foam is ultra conformable, combined with the aluminized fabric can easily conform to irregular surfaces to create a protective barrier to aid in heat management. The FS1000 Series passes FMVSS302 flammability tests. The material is comprised of a smooth aluminized fabric and low-density silicone foam. Applications include commercial and military vehicles, HVAC, lighting, motor housing, construction insulation, appliances, and other applications that require foam insulation with fire retardancy.
